What is the time commitment?
What if I have to miss sessions?
What tuition assistance is available?
What are the dates of classes?
How do I know lessons will stick?
Do you offer refunds?
Can I see a Course Outline?
What do you offer alumni?
Many people have an initial concern about the time commitment. Then, once in, they are sad that the program doesn’t last longer (which is why we developed more robust alumni programming)! The entire program spans 8 months with an average time commitment of ~4-6 hours per month.
Our program kicks off and closes with a 2.5-hour forum (that we promise is engaging and energizing--not draining). In between, each month, there is a live 90-minute seminar and a 90-minute Peer Practicum. You also will have 6 1:1 individual coaching sessions with a professional coach to use during the program. You can expect to spend about 2-3 hours a month on self-paced preparation, growth work and practical application of lessons.
Should you crave more, there are plenty of opportunities for deepening your learning in any given module, through provided bonus resources and optional office hours.
You should treat sessions as if they were meetings that you are required to be in-person for. You will need to log-in from a computer; calling in from the road doesn’t allow for proper functioning. We also ask that participants are prompt and join sessions on time; we promise to end on time, every time!

The group grows fond of all members and the valuable additions their experience brings, so it is a bummer when someone is missing. But, it is reality! Everyone will likely need to miss a session. Our sessions are not recorded as measure to keep the environment as safe and candid as possible, but all of the self-paced materials and videos are available to you...forever.
We just ask that you let us know, preferably in advance, if you are unable to attend.

We don’t want price to hold leaders back from development that will make them and their impact great! We have done everything possible to keep the costs of the program low, but know that it will still be too much of a stretch for some individuals. Therefore, we do offer a few different forms of tuition assistance:
Scholarships
Though we will do our best to honor as many tuition assistance requests as possible, our pool of scholarship funds is limited and we may be unable to fulfill all needs. We do encourage you to ask your employer to cost-share with us and/or you whenever possible.
Scholarships are available on a rolling basis until funds are depleted. The Catalyzer Scholarship is due by September 9, 2022.
- Early bird pricing- we offer a 20% discount for anyone who applies and enrolls during the first month of our enrollment period.
- Payment Plans- We offer options to pay in full, pay in two equal installments, or pay monthly over 10 months.

- Emerging BIPOC Leader Scholarships- we believe the pipeline to develop the future C-level leaders of the social sector is broken, and even more so if you are an emerging BIPOC leader. We reserve a pool of funds specifically for BIPOC leaders of color that can range from 30%-100% scholarship depending on need.
- Partial Scholarships- dependent upon your salary range and whether your employer is willing to cost-share, costs can be reduced by up to 30%.
- Catalyzer Full Scholarship- each cohort we offer one full scholarship in a special category of our choice. In the past this has included climate champions, immigration, and social justice leaders.

Great question. First, it won’t stick if you don’t apply it. So, your commitment is the first step. But the program is also designed to not allow you to gloss over lessons as if you are reading them in a textbook; we ask you to pull out what is relevant to your circumstances now from each module, and then we ask you to put ideas into action. Your monthly peer practicums and individual coaching sessions are then a place for you to discuss what is working, what is challenging you and get support on the work you are applying. However, not every lesson will be equally relevant right away for you. That’s why we extend the 8-month programming to our alumni through a variety of offerings.
We work hard to make sure the program is a fit for each participant and pride ourselves on the quality of our programming. That said, we want everyone to feel that they are receiving extraordinary value for their investment of time and dollars. That’s why we offer a 100% money back guarantee if you feel you have chosen the wrong program. If, after 3 months, you have participated live in all sessions, and have fully completed your prep and growth work (we will ask you to turn it in to us), and don’t believe the program is delivering on its promise, we will give you your money back.
In some cases, like where life takes a complete and unexpected U-turn, we may grant a deferment of your enrollment to another session.
