JESSICA VIBBERTS

Founder and
CEO

As a first generation college student from a rural town in California, the pathway to success wasn’t clear to me and I didn’t have a built-in support network spelling it out. I had some serious meandering and trial and error to figure out what success meant to me and how to get there.

Fast forward to today, after two decades working in the nonprofit sector, where I rose quickly to leadership positions, I discovered my primary passion is helping others grow and succeed.

I was incredibly lucky to receive world-class talent development opportunities many of my peers did not: I worked with renowned executive coaches, I spent 3 years as a GAP, Inc. Leadership fellow where I received advanced training in Situational Leadership, StrengthsFinder, Corporate Athlete principals, Inside Out Coaching, strategy and management. I received scholarships to intensive programs at Harvard & Stanford Business Schools. I studied strategic human resources leadership at Cornell’s ILR school to further develop my knowledge of people systems.

I am certain that these investments helped me be a successful executive director, COO, CEO and, my favorite: Chief People Officer at fast-growing national non-profits. My heart is always with people. It was because of this passion, combined with a strategic mindset that I led one of my former organizations, Summer Search, to land on the 50 Best Nonprofits to Work For list for four years running.

As a leader, I was always struck by how hard it was to find excellent professional development and network-building opportunities for myself and others that didn’t cost thousands upon thousands of dollars. And, I watched as growing organizations had difficulty in making investments in infrastructure to support people and equity to take their impact to the next level.

So, I decided to take everything I have learned and created, gather a team of outstanding talent leaders, and work together to launch a meaningful and effective leadership development program and talent strategy firm with a wide reach and deep impact.

My approach to supporting leaders is based on a deep understanding of social impact businesses and the people that are the lifeblood of their success. I draw on over two decades in senior leadership roles in national entrepreneurial organizations, intertwined in education steeped in neuroscience and psychology, design thinking, and effective leadership. The combination of creativity, human-centered perspective, and business acumen, lead to solutions that stick; the ability to be an effective strategist and executor means true impact, not just theory that sit on a shelf.

In addition to my love for people development, I am passionate about creating educational equity that gives all kids a chance to succeed, and protecting the environment so that every human can find joy in fresh air and clean water; as a bisexual woman, I stand in solidarity with all those who are fighting for equal rights, and I have a particular passion for standing up for women and girls' rights around the world.  I am a chocolate snob, a mother and wife, and a general life rebel. I thrive on questioning the rules and this led me to uproot my family from a cozy suburban life in the Bay Area to living as global citizens where I have proudly called Mexico, parts of Europe, and Morocco home.

I am thrilled to be working with and for you.

"Jessica embodies "Heart & Excellence". This rare and potent combination inspires both passion and competence in her staff. Jessica knows how to ask the hard questions and never lose sight of the people with whom she is working or the vision/goals they share."
